At least … that was my goal.
I had unrealistic expectations.
Stock trading is a lot like playing golf … or any sport for that matter.
Everybody wants to walk on the green and be the next tiger woods. How hard can it be? Just hit the ball, right?
Wrong.
I had no experience in this field. And as a result, I was horrible in the beginning.
Looking back, I picked stocks almost at random. I was bound to start losing money eventually.
That’s when some people quit … I decided to put in more effort.
And that effort paid off. Sure, there were late nights here and there I spent studying. But no pain no gain.
If you expect to open a brokerage account and immediately start making money, you should switch industries or change your mindset.
