Strong Runners Already

by | May 11, 2023 | Market Lessons

Howdy traders, it’s Bryce here.

Yesterday we learned about April’s inflation data …

That matters for us because now everyone’s done holding their breath.

The first two days of the week major indices barely moved. And there were low-priced runners, but the list was pretty short.

It’s because everyone was waiting for the CPI data released Wednesday morning.

Now we’re over the hump and people are ready to trade.

I expect a lot of volatility in the next few days.

Here’s what I’m watching …

Runners

I’m watching stocks that have already spiked.

Maybe yesterday.

Maybe a few days ago.

Here are some examples …

  • NANO-X IMAGING LTD (NASDAQ: NNOX)
  • VYNE Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: VYNE)
  • Augmedix Inc. (NASDAQ: AUGX)

These tickers have already proved they can move. And to some degree, they’ve been able to hold their gains.

I’m hoping to find bounce plays or even a breakout as we approach the weekend.

The Keystone Trading Strategy Behind Sykes’ $7.4 Million fortune

Back in high school, Tim Sykes stumbled upon one simple strategy that helped him make $100,000 in the stock market before leaving for college…

Then, he used the same strategy to make $700,000 as a freshman in college…

And before graduating college, he had made over $1,600,000.

(Yes, while trading the same pattern)

If he could find and trade this predictable pattern over and over again, with ZERO financial experience…

So can you.

But I might trade stocks that aren’t on my watchlist …

Those are the tickers that haven’t spiked yet. And I won’t be able to find them until they start moving.

Some people sit in front of the computer all day and wait to catch a ticker as it starts to run. But it can be exhausting/boring work …

That’s why I also rely on a trading algorithm to help narrow down the list.

Matt Monaco uses the same tool.

In order to survive in this niche we’ve got to think smarter instead of harder.

The best traders are able to stay competitive because they use the best tools. It’s as simple as that.

If you wanted to win a race, would you use the fastest car at your disposal? Or some rusty lemon?

It’s up to you.

I’ll see you in the next letter.
